The BIM Engineers provided Building Information Modeling (BIM) services for the GBA-198B New State Prison project located in Washington County, GA, United States. The project focused on underground utility infrastructure across a project area of 306.41 acres. The scope included the design and coordination of underground utilities such as sewer, storm, and water pipelines using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on client CAD/PDF references and design standards. The BIM process helped ensure accurate utility layouts, proper elevation management, and efficient coordination across multiple utility networks.
The work was executed discipline-wise to maintain accuracy and consistency across sewer, storm, and water networks. Key engineering parameters such as slopes, invert levels, and elevations were applied following industry standards and best engineering practices. Coordination and clash detection were carried out using Navisworks to ensure a conflict-free model and smooth project coordination, resulting in a high-quality deliverable that met client expectations.
