FOLSOM AREA STORMWATER– HARRISON/TREAT

The BIM Engineers delivered Building Information Modeling (BIM) services for the Folsom Area Stormwater – Harrison/Treat project located in San Francisco, USA. The project involved underground utility infrastructure with civil structures covering an area of 2.71 acres. The BIM scope focused on developing accurate models for both existing and proposed site conditions based on civil CAD and PDF inputs, ensuring alignment with engineering design intent and project limits.

Advanced BIM workflows were implemented to model sewer, stormwater, and water networks discipline-wise with precise slopes, elevations, and invert levels using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Selected model elements were further enhanced using approved Procore submittals, including shop drawings and manufacturer documentation, improving model accuracy and constructability. Coordination was streamlined through clash detection in Navisworks, ensuring efficient identification and resolution of interferences within a controlled review and revision cycle.

TBE - Value Addition

  • Accurate BIM modeling of underground sewer, storm, and water utility networks with detailed engineering parameters.
  • Clash detection and coordination using Navisworks with discipline-wise issue identification and resolution.
  • Integration of approved Procore submittals including shop drawings and manufacturer data for enhanced model precision.
  • Development of models using AutoCAD Civil 3D adhering to industry engineering standards and best practices.
  • Delivery supported with one coordination review and one revision cycle ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Modeling limited to discrete standalone elements for efficient coordination and clarity.
