12 INDUSTRIAL WAY

The BIM Engineers delivered comprehensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) services for a commercial facility located at 12 Industrial Way, United States. The project focused on converting point cloud data into an accurate 3D BIM model, enabling a reliable as-built representation of the existing building conditions. This model served as a critical foundation for analysis, validation, and future decision-making throughout the facility’s lifecycle.

The BIM process involved interpreting high-density point cloud data to develop a coordinated and information-rich model at LOD 350. By creating an as-built BIM model, TBE ensured precise spatial accuracy, improved visibility of existing conditions, and enhanced collaboration among stakeholders. This approach streamlined workflows, minimized rework, and supported informed planning for renovation, operations, and facility management.

TBE – Value Addition

  • Conversion of point cloud data into a coordinated 3D BIM model to accurately reflect existing site conditions.
  • Development of an as-built BIM model at LOD 350 to support analysis, validation, and future renovations.
  • Extraction of reliable geometric and spatial data to improve decision-making and reduce uncertainties.
  • Preparation of BIM models suitable for coordination, documentation, and downstream BIM/VDC workflows.
  • Efficient handling of large point cloud datasets using advanced BIM tools to enhance modeling accuracy.
  • Improved collaboration across disciplines through a centralized and information-rich BIM model.
  • Use of industry-standard software including Revit, ReCap, Jet Stream, and Tru View to ensure precision and interoperability.
